The profession I admire most is definitely scientific researchers. Many of the things they do take hours, like doing experiments, writing up scientific papers, and learning from mistakes. It doesn’t seem like very easy work, as there is almost no instant gratification, but after years of work research that they’ve done can create a huge impact on the world: building humanity’s body of knowledge, saving lives, and making life easier for everyone in the entire world. That’s why I love scientists so much. They dedicate their whole lives to researching one specific topic, not even sure if they will find any answers or change anything, but they’re the reason our world is where it is today. We have so much advanced technology that wouldn’t be possible without the research of millions of scientists and years of work. There’s even science used in cooking! As I’m in high school, I’m starting to think more about future careers, and I think I would love being a scientist, not a chef like some would think. I am deeply passionate about cooking, but also lots of other things, like swimming, math, writing, and science. So, I’ll see where life takes me.
