What is my favorite word?

I use words everyday, but choosing a favorite one is difficult. There are some that I use really often, like “the” and “and”, but they aren’t really my favorites. No, my favorite word would have to be something that sounds funny, like “ridiculous” or “spontaneous”. But which word should I choose?

After some careful thought, I think I’ve come up with a word. It’s not really funny, and I don’t use it very often, but I just like the sound. I like the word “Merge”. I’m not sure exactly why, but I think it’s the combination of the r and the g; it’s not something you hear all too often. And, it also starts with an M, which is also the first letter of my name, and it also has two vowels, like my name. I also like what it’s used to describe. Usually it has to do with chemistry, when atoms merge to form new molecules, and I really enjoy learning about chemistry. It’s also used in astronomy, another interest of mine, as the Milky Way and Andromeda will someday collide and merge.

So while the word “Merge” isn’t something I use everyday, it’s still a word that has plenty in common with my name and comes up in my interests, so that’s why I chose it as my favorite word.
