It’s late in the evening right now, so I don’t want to disturb anyone. But, you know who is awake? That’s right, my three cats. I’m not sure if their lives are interesting or not, but let’s find out. They are all female.
Interview with Tundra:
Background info: Tundra is the newest and most mischievous cat at our house. As a rescue from outdoors, she’s street smart and a great hunter with keen senses. She frequently tries to get to places she shouldn’t be, like the outdoors and the basement. Just make sure you look out before you open and close the front door for this adorable but naughty cat.
What are some of your favorite hobbies?
Staring out the window or screen porch, looking at birds and chipmunks go by, obviously!
What is your favorite memory?
Hmm, probably that time when I got outside and caught a chipmunk.
What is your favorite treat?
Definitely Churu licking treats. I’d take one right now, please.
Interview with Zeppy
Background info: Zeppy is the oldest cat in our house. Another rescue from outdoors, she’s a great hunter as well, having caught a chipmunk and brought it inside. Was quite similar to Tundra in her youth, but as an elderly cat she loves to show affection, even when you don’t exactly want it. (Ahem, bed time.)
What are some of your favorite hobbies?
Ah, yes, my favorite hobbies. Sitting on peoples’ laps is nice. Waking them up at 4 am so they can get me food is fun too.
What is your favorite memory?
Hmm, that’s a tough one. I think my favorite memory is seeing a bird hit the glass. I could’ve got that thing!
What is your favorite treat?
Um, probably has to be Sheba Perfect Portions. I don’t know what it is about them, but it’s what I look forward to every morning.
Interview with Holly
Background info: Holly is either the youngest or second youngest (we aren’t sure how old Tundra is) in our home. She’s the only one of our cats who was adopted from a center. She’s quite skittish, as she doesn’t like to be picked up, doesn’t like loud noises, etc. However, we still love her all the same. Just be careful, though, she’s always got the sharpest claws of all the cats.
What are some of your favorite hobbies?
Uh, mmm, I uh, I like to sit in the screen porch, and uh, watch birdies go by. I also like to, uh, walk on computers and roll around when I get pet.
What is your favorite memory?
Maybe, uh, when I first got to this place.. yeah. I was really, uh, scared, but you guys took care of me.
What is your favorite treat?
My favorite treat? Uh… Let me think… Oh! I like, uh, those green leaves that people sprinkle, they make me feel really, uh, good.
