What do I like about where I live? Well, just about everything.
Wisconsin is a great place to live, especially in the northern part of the state. I’m a huge nature lover, so I basically live in paradise. There’s forests all around, hundreds of animals, birds, and fish to gaze upon, and many lakes to enjoy. I go on a lot of walks where I live, and it’s always beautiful, no matter if it’s raining, snowing, or really sunny. I also love how our seasons are so distinct; the summer is very hot with lots of plant growth, fall is cool and colorful, with leaves turning a bright red, orange, and yellow, in winter there’s a ton of snow, and in spring melting snow reveals flowers. Having this isn’t something you can get everywhere, especially in southern states. There’s hundreds of ways to enjoy every season, too, with gardening in spring, summer, and fall. Water skiing, fishing, and hiking in summer. Jumping in leaf piles and enjoying the colors in fall. Skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and skating in the winter. In Wisconsin, you can never run out of things to do outside!
It’s great where I live, but there are some things I don’t like: having a short growing season and wildfire smoke from Canada. But besides that, I love living where I do.
