
This one’s tricky. I feel a lot of positive emotions all the time, and negatives ones as well. But, because I have to choose one that I feel most often, it definitely has to be contentment.
I’ve done a lot of great things in my life, and just being grateful for them makes me feel content. When I’m content, I feel like I’m doing enough, really trying my best, and being my best self. I don’t always feel like this; sometimes I feel the exact opposite. But, it’s the positive emotion that I feel most often.
What helps me to feel content is challenging myself, but not too much. I like doing hard things like going on long runs, studying for hours, and cooking complicated meals, because every time I do them I always feel so good afterward. It’s very satisfying to know that you’re getting better, and I encourage everyone to try hard things.
